diakonia “Come and See” Info Fairs

…then diakonia™ may be just what you’re looking for!

These informational fairs will provide an in-depth overview of the Northern Illinois Synod diakonia Program–a two-year commitment to learning about your faith, the church, and your gifts to be used in God’s service.

This event includes the following components:

  • Program overview and orientation
  • A class simulation on a diakonia topic such as the New Testament, early church history, or Christian worship
  • Brief remarks by current diakonia students and graduates
  • Table-top displays featuring each of the 12 courses, with sample syllabi, resources, and a diakonia host
  • Time for refreshments, fellowship, and getting answers to questions
