Embracing Stewardship – a resourcing event for congregations

Saturday, September 23, 2017, 9am-3pm at Faith Lutheran Church, Rochelle

The Northern Illinois Synod Stewardship Ministry Team is offering a stewardship resourcing event for congregations entitled “Embracing Stewardship.”

Pastor Charles Lane and Ms. Grace Duddy Pomroy, authors of the book “Embracing Stewardship,” will be our resource leaders for the day.

They bring a multigenerational and “diverse approach” to their discussion on stewardship.  Coming from two generations, they are mindful of the generational perspectives and the worlds in which congregations live.  They will help us think through some differing pathways that congregations can follow to help members grow as stewards of God’s gifts.  It should be a wonderful day of learning, conversation, and insight.
