…for Rev. Jacob Gawlik and St. John’s Sterling as he was installed there August 6

St. John’s, Sterling, new pastor, Rev. Jacob Gawlik will be installed this Sunday, August 6 at 9:30 a.m.

Pastor Jacob Gawlik, his wife, Michelle, and their two children, Hannah and Eve, have moved to Sterling. They are settling into their new home and acquainting themselves with the community. Pastor Jacob will begin his ministry here on August 1st. He was serving a rural congregation in Coloma, Wisconsin. He graduated from Carthage College and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He enjoys teaching children, youth and adults, and has a passion for worship and liturgy. Pastor Jacob likes to get lost in the outdoors and is an avid comic book reader. Pastor Jacob will be installed as the Pastor of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Sunday, August 6th, during the 9:30am service by Pastor Marilyn Hanson, Assistant to the Bishop. A breakfast will be served following the service in the fellowship hall.
