The Performing Arts Guild of Mt Morris, IL is proud to announce the world premiere musical performance of “The Way Home” November 10-19. This exciting and inspirational production is based on the story of the Prodigal Son.
The playwright and one of the last century’s leading hymn writers, the late Dr. Rev. Herb Brokering, is recognized for his amazing and creative telling and retelling of biblical scriptures and contemporary theological work.
Composer Daniel Kallman is a gifted contemporary musician and composer who is equally recognized in the music world. He is extraordinarily gifted in composing a genre of music that is enthusiastically sung and played worldwide.
We have an incredible and talented cast seen on stage professionally throughout the Chicagoland area in regional community theater. Leads include Mark Tremble as Papa, Margo Ackland as Mama, Todd McMillion as Ted, and John Chase as Fred. We also have an amazing supporting cast including Connie Augsburger, Pam Ballard, Russ Senti, Cat Hill, Dave Sowinski, Priscilla Osborne, Judy Cook, Briana Fuentes.
