Unity/Point Health – Trinity Announcing Clinical Pastoral Education Extended Unit CPE Late September 2016- Early April 2017
Unity Point Health Trinity is pleased to announce our offering of Extended Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) which will run from September 2016 through April 2017.
This program of CPE is designed as continuing education in pastoral care for clergy, professed religious, qualified lay persons, and those seeking to acquire the require CPE units to become certified by a pastoral care/chaplaincy certifying agency.
The educational emphases of this program are: Enhanced pastoral care skills, theological reflection, pastoral assessment and care planning, leadership, and family dynamics in pastoral care.
Specific educational outcomes are individualized for the participant at the onset of the program with the assistance of one’s learning cohort and covenanting to facilitate each other’s desired educational outcomes.
A standard CPE application can be acquired online at the website of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Tuition is $1,000.00
