WELCA request: Whallie Stewart asked that the GM Committee again help fund NIS WELCA guests, this year  from Arcot Lutheran Church in India, to the July WELCA Triennial in in Minneapolis.  Three years ago NIS WELCA hosted two Tanzanian women from North Central Diocese in Arusha.

Chuck Steinbach, past president of Global Mission in East Central-Southern Synod in Wisconsin and active in global partnership, shared some of his experiences.  He planted a seed for a Palestinian Qanun player Mr. Ali Amr to include NISynod in one of his concert stops in April 2017.  Funds from the concerts would go to Augusta Victoria Hospital in Bethelehem.
