Global Mission trip to Tanzania and Rwanda
On a Global Mission immersion trip to Tanzania and Rwanda, travelers witnessed the power of accompaniment in action. They met global companions, missionaries and Young Adults in Global Mission volunteers. The Lutheran Church of Rwanda celebrated its 25th-anniversary jubilee, a joyous occasion, and visitors participated in Umuganda, Rwanda’s community service day. In Tanzania, the group met Dr. Mark and Linda Jacobson, the ELCA’s longest-serving missionaries, and Dr. Steven and Bethany Friberg, who’ve been serving for 25 years in Ketumbeine. View photos from the trip here.
