Earth Church

The Northern Illinois Synod Creation Care Team is excited to invite you to our next Earth Church happening on April 5, 2025 at Russell Woods in Genoa from 10 am till Noon.

A light breakfast will be offered and you are welcome to bring something to share. Please bring your own tableware to help make this earth-friendly. We will be gathering around picnic tables, feel free to bring a cushion or lawn chair. 

We will be joined by Peggy Anesi a University of Illinois Extension Educator and members of the Salem Church Puppets (Salem in Sycamore). 

Handicapped Accessibility:  Unfortunately Shelter 2 has 3 steps but there are railings and the steps are shallow.  Pit toilets are available within walking distance – flush toilets with no steps are available at the Nature Center down the road.
