Earlier this week the White House, through the department of Health and Human Services, published a toolkit for how organizations – including houses of worship – can work directly with vaccine providers to set up vaccination clinics in locations that people know.
Below you will find a number of resources developed through #Faiths4Vaccines, in which the ELCA has been active from the start. This interfaith campaign seeks to ensure equitable vaccine distribution in the US and worldwide.
You will also find other resources and tips for how you can participate – i.e. through messaging in sermons, announcements in church bulletins and newsletters, and on social media.
Let us work to provide particular support for this month’s nationwide push, especially in rural areas, and through direct consultation with BIPOC communities. Please share this information widely including with partners beyond the ELCA.
