First Lutheran Church of Geneseo is searching for our next Director of Worship and Music (full-time). First is a vibrant congregation of faithful disciples with a strong history of excellent music in Worship. Our full-time Director of Worship & Music will plan and coordinate two weekend worship opportunities and all special services; accompany the congregation’s song; direct vocal and handbell choirs and a praise team; work with children and youth during weekly programming and as worship volunteers; and be an integral part of our Program Staff. Our Program Staff includes a Pastor, a Pastoral Intern, a Parish Administrator, a Director of Youth & Family Ministry, and a Communications Specialist. Our support staff includes a Livestream Technician, with whom the Director works closely for our weekly livestream worship. We are seeking a candidate with a strong faith in Jesus Christ; experience with Lutheran worship traditions; and skills in leadership, music, organization, and technology.

First Lutheran Church of Geneseo is searching for our next Programs Meal Coordinator (part-time). This person is responsible for setting the menus, purchasing food and supplies, and coordinating the volunteer teams for the Faithtime Meal program and some other congregational meals. We are seeking someone who is dependable, organized, motivated, and loves to feed people! The hours required for this position vary week to week, depending on the events on our church calendar.

This individual will work with student leaders and adult volunteers to plan learning, service, and fellowship events.
