First Lutheran in Galesburg Feeds its Community

Three times per month, every month, First Lutheran Church, Galesburg, offers food to those in its community, no questions asked.

In 2020, during the challenging times of the pandemic, the congregation provided food to an average of 64 families/188 people per month.

This ministry is possible through the work of more than 30 regular volunteers who not only work when the ministry is open but also assist behind the scenes in loading and unloading donations from the local Food Bank.
