Thank you for your continued partnership with LSSI. Good Shepherd Sunday is an annual opportunity for congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) across the state to celebrate their shared social ministry with LSSI.
Good Shepherd Sunday is on April 21 but can also be observed on any Sunday throughout the month of May. We are grateful to our many church partners across Illinois who will be celebrating our shared ministry over the coming weeks.
Resources to help plan your Good Shepherd Sunday are now available for download at LSSI.org/GSS. This includes a bulletin insert, lessons for children and youth, a video sermon by LSSI President and CEO Mark Stutrud, and a flyer. By early next week, we will post a new storytelling video about one of our programs.
Pr. Kelly Nieman Anderson, LSSI's Manager of Church and Community Engagement, hosted an informational webinar about how to utilize Good Shepherd Sunday resources, and the recording is available here.
