Criminal Justice Professor David Deeds has taught criminal justice for 8 years at Governor State University and the College of DuPage. He as studied Human Trafficking for over 12 years. In that time he has participated in presentations, in unique ways, to combat human trafficking and organized events to raise awareness. He has worked with the nonprofit Closing The Gap to design a training program for police officers to become more aware of potential human trafficking victims. David Deeds is now the Interim Executive Director/curriculum Director of the Radical Empathy Education Foundation. He has offered this curriculum to us along with Radical Empathy's award-winning Vulnerability Identification Software and multiple course offerings, at no cost, for one year.
