The Rev. Julie Monnard
Assistant to the Bishop
Pastor Julie Monnard grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and has worshipped God in the ELCA her whole life. She attended Wartburg College and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. She has served two calls in small town ministry including Calvary Lutheran Church in New Windsor, IL. Her ministry interests include biblical storytelling and multigenerational ministry. She is married to Brett Monnard, and they have a dog named Rollo. They enjoy attending renaissance festivals and participating in living history events. In addition to reading, Pastor Julie loves crafting a variety of fiber arts including tatting, quilting, and naalbinding.
