Walking Together to spruce up the park

 Apple Orchard Park, located a few blocks south of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Mendota, recently received a new and improved look. 

On Sunday, September 12, 2021, Pastor Ken Gibson and several adult volunteers from St. John’s walked together with their Confirmation and High School students to the park with a mission to spruce things up.

They painted the big swing set, the picnic area, and a small building in the park.
