Dr. Moore's topic/theme was “Grounded in God.” She asked each of us to ask ourselves the following question, and she gave us some context of the question.

What are our most treasured memories from the stories of Scripture?

When we think of the ancient faith and the text that preserves it, are we drawn to the most recent narratives (the Gospels), the witness to the early churches (the Epistles), the ancient hymnal (the Psalms), or the stories of the Creator's mission in the world (the Law and the Prophets)?

In these sessions, Dr. Moore rediscovered the transforming drama of faith through the familiar stories of Scripture.

As part of these presentations, she helped us to transform our current stories and context through those timeless stories found in the scriptures.
