The 2021 proposed constitution was adopted by substitution as amended. Two amendments were made and passed. The entire final constitution with all updates and amendments will be available here on the synod website soon.
The two passed amendments are the underlined portions below:
8.51.01 An officer shall not be elected to the same office for more than two consecutive terms
S12.02. The synod shall establish and make provision for the continued functioning of conferences composed of congregations and rostered[PE1] ministers, in specified geographical areas. The boundaries of the conferences as found in the bylaws, shall be subject to redetermination by the synod in consultation with the conferences and/or congregations in question at four (4) year intervals, or at the formation of or for the benefit of a shared ministry between congregations who reside in different conferences.
